Blocked at The stairs. The L turn reaches 8.5 in and the piece is 84 in long, short by 76 in. Removing the legs buys back the leg height on the tightest dimension.

Why a turn is the hard part

Doors are simple: the two smallest dimensions have to clear the opening. A corner is not. A long piece pivoting between two runs is limited by the ladder-around-a-corner result, with the piece’s own thickness taken off both runs first, because the far face has to stay inside the corridor through the whole sweep.

L = (a^(2/3) + b^(2/3))^(3/2)

This is why a 36 inch stair with a 36 inch landing refuses almost any sofa while a 48 inch stair onto a 72 inch landing takes one comfortably. Measuring the diagonal of the landing and comparing it to the sofa gets both wrong.
